Some adjectives have two forms. They can end with ~ing or with ~ed. For example. Interested and interesting bored and boring confused and confusing depressed and depressing Which do we use? Go to the next slide

Boring or bored? Bored I am so bored Boring Teletubbies is so boring It makes me feel bored

Adjective with ~ed is to say how we feel.. Eg. Bored, depressed, interested. Adjective with ~ing is to describe the thing that makes us feel like that. I was bored because the movie was boring. (the movie made me feel bored.) I was terrified because the earthquake was terrifying.
