In 1977, NASA launched a probe called Voyager to explore some of the planets in our solar system.
Attached to Voyager was a golden record of greetings in various earth languages and the sounds of nature.
There was also a star map showing where Earth is located in relationship to the Milky Way Galaxy, our home galaxy.
Voyager is currently leaving the fringes of our solar system and will continue out into intergalactic space.
