2.  Service learning is a teaching method which involves community service.  Service learning combines students’ social commitment with professional learning in class.  the National Youth Leadership Council defines service learning as "a philosophy, pedagogy, and model for community development that is used as an instructional strategy to meet learning goals and/or content standards”.National Youth Leadership Council

3.  The community and students benefit from service learning.  Students gain experiences in keeping good company with other people.  Students support common welfare and do something for the society.  Students train their social skills.

10.  The Blazer Raiser fund-raiser was a great experience.  It was a lot of fun.  I got to meet many new people.
