3 3 Sandwell – 2 Years ago…. Most deprived West Midlands borough –Household Incomes less than £25,000 –All 24 wards are in worst 40% in England –11% of the population had never worked –27% of workforce adults with no qualifications –46% have qualifications lower than Level 2
