Hint: think economics Division of Labor As division of labor changes, so does society Ex: Laws: Change form forcing people to do things too preventing a group form infringing upon another Education increases as a specialized work force is needed

Why Do Societies Change? Max Weber Agreed with Marx: Change is marked by conflict Agreed with Durkheim: Resources are not the only cause for change However, he believed that the future was more unpredictable. Ex: Alternate realities
