Challenge 1: time, expertise, staff resources, training 1.Not sure what to stop doing so that resources can be devoted to data curation space 2.Staffing issues: not adequate and lack of skills 3.Librarians need new skills. are afraid/intimidated by the subject 4.Librarians are not skilled in this area 5.Lack of funding 6.Staffing and resources in general. it’s a challenge. Need people who are educated and knowledgeable in data curation, IT 7.Time constraints 8.Lack of knowledge/skills for librarians
