The Economic Impact The Port of Brunswick has a major impact in a lot of areas You get to learn a lot of knowledge about many things, including the port Port as a Classroom is fun and educational! You even get to have many awesome tours. I will tell you all about this

Imports and Exports Many cars come out of the Port of Brunswick, including Ford, GM, Mercedes, and Toyotas The port also imports cars like Jaguars, Porsches, Land Rovers, Mitsubishis, and Volvos. Other Exports include corn and oats Brunswick is the primary car import port due to the number of imported automobiles Brunswick also imports Ro/Ro ships, with 12% of the imports of these ships 612,489 auto and machinery units were handled in CY2012

What Countries Come To and From the Port of Brunswick? There have been ships from the Philippines, China, Japan, Germany, and Spain. This would be a great experience for a fan of Geography because you get to meet many people from different countries around the world. This could teach about different languages and cultures. This could also help you in Model UN and Social Studies classes because you learn about cultures.

Why is the U.S. dependent on the port? The Port of Brunswick is a big help with exporting vehicles. Without the port, we would be well over 300,000 cars less. Also the port supplies us with corn and grains. This is excellent because the demand for corn has gone up steadily over the years. Without this knowledge you could not no that Brunswick has numerous things!

Port Interactions with Students Every few months you get to have a field trip to the port. You get tour ships, see how things are made, and get to do very fun things. You get to have a great time with the wonderful people who guide you through this project.
