3 TOBB Title of the Project: Textile Clustering Project Partners: Prato Chamber of Commerce Budget: 1212.364,75 Euro Duration: 12 months ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

4 Objectives – to increase the international competitiveness of Companies in the textile and clothing sectors. – to improve the textile sector in Diyarbakır – to support the textile companies to solve their problems – to provide the companies with an international experience – to ensure coordination among the companies TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

5 Activities – Formation of Diyarbakır Textile Labor Cluster Committee – Visiting Italian Textile Labor Cluster – Conducting Diyarbakır Textile Cluster Competition Analysis – Clustering Training for the Companies and Enabling their Participation – Providing Marketing and Branding Consultancy Service and Professional Assistance to the Companies in Textile Labor Cluster – Formation of Diyarbakır Textile Labor Cluster Network – Mutual Negotiation between Italian Textile Labor Cluster and Diyarbakır Textile Labor Cluster – Founding Diyarbakır Textile Clustering Association – Action Assessment and Reporting TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey

6 Expected Results – collaboration with labor masses or institutions in different countries – gaining international experiences – establishing a global market for Diyarbakır textile industry – increasing employment capacity and raising export capacity of textile sector at the end of the project – to develop a Cluster Map – at least 100 firms will be trained TOBB ETCF-II is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey
