2. Tertiary Referral to Named Clinician Patient attends follow up appointment Following a recent angiogram, Mick returns to see his consultant, Dr Ataullah. The results show extensive triple vessel disease and Dr Ataullah recommends referral for a Coronary Artery Bypass. 1

3. Consultant and patient discuss options Dr Ataullah explains that cardiac surgery is not carried out at this hospital, and that Mick will need to be referred elsewhere. He recommends a surgical colleague, Mr Appleby, in a regional centre. 2 Tertiary Referral to Named Clinician
