Lessons learned There is a need for Statewide coordination for the implementation of a geocoding system –Rural vs Urban Areas Data returned is only as good as data entered –Database needs to be structured to accept GIS parameters Street Address GPS Coordinates PLSS reference –Correct data entry procedures need to be followed to obtain accurate results
