3 Aspects of Health Physical Health –Care for your body –Ability to meet the demands of daily living Mental Health –YOU and YOUR feelings –Being able to express your emotions in an acceptable, healthy way –Ability to face problems and daily stressors

The Health Triangle Need to balance ALL 3 to remain in good health. A “wrinkle” in one DIRECTLY effects the others. Physical SocialMental

Practicing Basic Health Habits Involves much more than knowing what to do. –It combines knowledge with positive actions & decsions. Our attitudes effect how we take care of ourselves. DO NOT get caught up in the: –“That won’t happen to me” syndrome If you maintain that attitude, it is unlikely you will change any of your negative health behaviors.
