Born in 1754 in Trenton, New Jersey Original name was Mary Ludwig Hays McCauly Accompanied her husband John Hays in the Battle of Monmouth Died in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on January 22, 1832 THE LIFE OF MOLLY PITCHER

Molly Pitcher did survive the war and returned to Carlisle, Pennsylvania & remarried. After her 3 rd husband’s death she was voted Annuity for her services SURVIVAL OF THE WAR

My opinion on Molly Pitcher is that she was a very brave woman. I think this because she took it upon her self to fight in the war for her country, risking her life and her future. MY OPINION

The most interesting fact about Molly Pitcher to me was that when she was 13 years old she worked as a domestic servant & married William Hays who was a Barber. Also every man that she married had the last name Hays. !!!Thank You!!! MOST INTERESTING
