2 Monet Claude Monet was born in France in 1840. He was one of the most important Impressionist artists. They were very interested in light.

3 Monet He painted landscapes, city scenes, and seascapes, often repeating the same image many times. His painting “Sunrise: An Impression” gave the Impressionist movement its name.

6 Claude Monet loved LILY PICTURES. He studied the effect of light to paint different times of the day.

7 To paint different times of the day we can use different colours, softer or darker tones and include shadows.
