Monet Claude Monet was born in France in 1840. He was one of the most important Impressionist artists. They were very interested in light.

Monet He painted landscapes, city scenes, and seascapes, often repeating the same image many times. His painting “Sunrise: An Impression” gave the Impressionist movement its name.

Claude Monet loved LILY PICTURES. He studied the effect of light to paint different times of the day.

To paint different times of the day we can use different colours, softer or darker tones and include shadows.
