New Business Nominating Committee Report & Elections of Officers  Thank you to Candy Coalman, Jackie Suarez and Angela Cummings!  All positions are still considered open and we can take nominations from the floor.  Vote on the slate of officers for the 2012 – 2013 school year WA State PTA Convention  Friday, May 4 th – Sunday, May 6 th  3 voting delegates since we have 300+ members.  Motion to allow voting delegates to vote with their conscious

7. New Business Continued! Staff Appreciation Budget  Asking for $100 to be added to the budget  COMING: Staff Appreciation Week – April 30 th – May 3rd  Thank you Sunni for doing such an amazing job!

More New Business Recruiting Strategy for 2012 - 2013  Looking for Board Members and Committee Chairs  If you think you might be interested, ask questions to better understand the role and true time commitment  It’s okay to have new ideas for an existing role. That is what keeps our PTA fresh!  Target Audience – K-2 nd grade parents! A BIG THANK YOU to Angela, Candy and Jackie for being on the nominating committee and caring about our community!
