2. Our Invention is….. The Dorky Designers have created an invention so innovative, that it will blow your mind away. Our invention is called the Locker Touch Sensor. This invention makes it quick and easy to open your locker by scanning your finger. How could it get any better?!

3. The Purpose The purpose of our invention is to reduce time at your locker so you can get to your class much sooner. By doing this, it also reduces the number of kids in the locker area, so there are not massive amounts of kids there. All at the push of a button.

4. Who will it benefit? Our invention would benefit Middle and High school students because they are the main users of lockers. Sometimes they spend a lot of time or have troubles with their lockers.

5. Does it Work? And How? The Locker Touch Sensor is actually quite simple. You put whichever finger (not fingers) you feel most comfortable with onto the dim, red scanner. Using the pad of your finger, the scanner turns green as you are accepted. And heavy red if this is not the right person. Full proof.

6. What is the Improvement? It is a major improvement from what it was because teachers will see it will get kids to class quicker and keep more people out of the locker area. One more touch is that kids will enjoy a fingerprint scanner.

7. What Will Change? The lockers and amount of tardiness to class because people will be in and out like that. TARDY

10. It Fails, What Now? If your locker fails, the dean will be notified and he/her will use a key to open the locker, turn it off, and then turn it back on. If that does not work, press the reset button and then start it over.
