5 In Your Common-Place Books Lennie What do you learn about Lennie from the way he behaves and speaks? What thing’s are uppermost in Lennie’s mind? What seems to have happened to Lennie in the past? What are Lennie’s problems at the moment? USE QUOTES FROM THE TEXT

6 In Your Common-Place Books Relationship Look at how George speaks to Lennie. How would you describe his attitude towards Lennie? Irritation? Affection? What does George have to do for Lennie? Why does he do it? If George is like a parent to Lennie, is he a good or a bad parent? USE QUOTES FROM THE TEXT

7 Finished? Remember the picture I showed you? Quickly draw George and Lennie in your Common-place books!
