 China is said to be the “Workshop of the World” and its motto “Time is Money, Efficiency is Life”, but what really behind the scene of what’s claiming to be the best in the world. There’s more to that title that not being told.  As the country earns money, the more risks it takes. China

 The population has increased a frightening amount that it seems it’s taking a toll on the country. Laws that state your only allowed to have one child. Even with those laws, the population still keeps on increasing.  In the last 20 years, the population has increased an amazing amount meaning that there are more mouths to feed. That means that people have to get jobs in factories or transport.

 Population has affected many different things that are important such as wildlife & agriculture; and some of those things have affected the population such as pollution.

 As a result of topographic and climate features, suitable areas for cultivation is small; only about 10% of land area in China  Serious threats like droughts, floods, and erosion are opposed in China and it’s surrounding  About two-thirds of the population live in the countryside  Until the 1980’s, a large proportion of the population made their living from farming. By the mid-80’s, farming had dropped to less than half of the value of rural output  Encouraged or even forced, citizens of China left the fields and pursued jobs in the city such as factory work, and transport  China still remains as a developing country along with its population, but 36% of the population still lives on less than $2 a day and most of the 36% of the population lives in the countryside

 As you can tell by the graph, as China’s population increases so does the production of it’s food.  You can also see that it’s cultivated land is decreasing which is very bad for farmers  China has played a major role in the agricultural trade  China produces 18% of the world’s cereal grains, 29% of the world’s meat, and 50% of the world’s vegetables. This success makes China the world’s largest agricultural economy, and it ranks as the largest global producer of pork, wheat, rice, tea, cotton, and fish. In fact, the value of China’s agricultural output is twice the U.S. total.

 Pollution, from 2000-2010, has a growth rate of 11.7% equaling to the development of 3,000-8,000 tons of co2 emissions from energy and industrial productivity. Factories that cause smog to pollute the air don’t know what happens when the smog comes out of their factories.  Over in the north; northeastern part of the nation is undertaking a practically caustic developments of polluted air; Pm2.5 toxin(s) are spreading throughout and making practically inhabitable environments for human life.  Pm2.5 is a form of (particulate/ air mixture matter) and is the width of 2.5 micrometers, and breathable, nearly the width of a hair strain and can be very affecting towards your health and the climates health. Pm2.5 is liquid/ solid matter in earths atmosphere suspended and mixed in the air as atmospheric aerosol holding sulfate, ammonium, and nitrate.  Also, its liquid parts could also five with other body's of water so could perhaps lead to high water pollution, and with all the elements mixed in with the particle pm2.5 water fusions could escalate and possibly affect marine life, plant life and even wildlife.

 Imagine waking up to this smog everyday. Polluted air from the Pm 2.5 toxins that’s caused by coal burning, vehicle emissions, and industrial/ factory reasons.  This causes cancer, lung disease, premature deaths to occur from breathing in this toxin.
