Knowledge First exposure to the innovation but lack sufficient information Decision Pros and cons are determined and from that the Innovation will be rejected or adopted. Persuasion An interest has sparked and now information is actively seek. Implementation The usefulness is determined and more information may be needed. Critical Mass Seeing is believing. I can use the knowledge about critical mass to effect positive social change in education by first being an early adopter and incorporating iPods as much as possible into the curriculum. I believe the more exposure early majorities have to iPods they will see the simplicity, usefulness, or value of the iPods and begin adopting faster.
