3. Fact File  Name:Sir Francis Drake.  Born:1540 in Devon  Voyages:SOUTH- AMERICA, NORTH AMERICA AND HE ALSO SAILED PAST THE ANTARTIC.  Died:56 years old

4. Ships and Crew  Drake’s ship was named the Golden Hind. Drake was the first English man to sail a boat around the world and his first boat was called the Golden Hind.  There would be about 35 to 40 people on board at a time.

5. Supplies They would take wood, coal, candles, wax, lanterns, platters, tankards, leather, dishes, bowls, buckets, scoops, taper candles, shovels, compasses, lamps, water casks, hoops of iron.
