Technology in Education According to the US Department of Education and the National Center for Education Statistics, back in 2009, – 97% of teachers had computers in classrooms – 40% of teachers said they use it often, or sometimes (29%) – Technology stated as needed every day: LCD or DLP projectors (72%), interactive whiteboards (57%), digital cameras (49%).

8. Now in 2013… We are brining iPads, iPhones, Android, etc into classrooms, and using various apps and websites to promote both technology, creativity and differentiation in student learning.
