Each unit grade (category) will consist of three to six small assessments (quizzes and/or labs), and one unit test. The small assessments will total 70 points in each unit, and each unit test will be 100 points. Our comprehensive final exam will make up 15% of the student’s final average. How will my student be graded?

Check the unit calendar to see what notes, labs, or assessments were missed. Check the blog to get notes, copies of labs, and view special assignments. Go to the course website to read the topics that were discussed during the absence. Come to a science department make-up session if a test or quiz was missed. (Tuesday afternoons and Wednesday mornings) What should my student do if he/she is absent?
