4 Tribe Traditions Diwali Nomadic Hunting The Fire Dance

5 What Did They Eat? The Fremont Indians ate buffalo. Sometimes they ate rabbits. Sometimes they ate elk too! They also ate corn and grew crops. The Fremont Indians were omnivores.

6 Where Did They Live? The Fremont Indians lived in Utah. They also lived in Wyoming. Once they lived in Idaho. Sometimes they lived in Nevada too! They slept in pit houses that were also underground.

7 How Did They Dress? The Fremont Indians dressed in animal fur. They also dressed in buffalo hide. Sometimes they dressed in deer too! Also for shoes they wore moccasin.

9 Contributions! Pottery was used to carry water and food and now we use bowls and buckets made of pottery probably because we got the idea from them. Arrowheads that we found helped us to make and improve the bow narrow today, Ladders made from wood gave us the idea to make them out of metal to make them sturdier and safer.

10 How Big Is The Tribe? The Fremont tribe was about 300-350 people. There was about 160-170 men. There was also about 120-130 women. There was also about 40-50 children. Altogether there was about 300-350 people in the Fremont tribe.

11 Extra Info! Many different Indians spoke many different languages. There was 7 different Indian tribes living at the same time including the Anazasi,Fremont,Ute,Sha shoni, Piuete,Navajo and the Goshute. The Indians left behind loads of stuff so that’s our proof that the Indians really did exist.
