TEMPTATION does not LESSEN with age or experience

Two major areas where temptation strikes:
Honesty Purity

TEMPTATION is INTENSIFIED on the mission field

TEMPTATION is INTENSIFIED on the mission field because:
Satan’s territory Cross-cultural stress No restraining Christian community Fewer “means of grace”

When facing temptation:
Get others to pray for you daily Avoid tempting situations Be accountable to someone Remind yourself of God’s omnipresence

This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. I John 5: 4, 5
