6 SUBMISSION (P. 9) FILE TRANSFER AND SNAIL MAIL Secure File Transfer – REQUIRED October 20, 2015 by 5:00pm Consider Compressing Files or combining documents in one PDF Why must we use Secure File Transfer?  Used to transfer files from one computer to another  Encrypted  Able to move LARGE files Three (3) hard copies of the Grant Application, must be received or postmarked by October 20th, 2015 Oregon Department of Education Office of Learning 255 Capitol Street NE Salem, Oregon 97310-0203 Attention: Joy Blackwell

7 HOW TO ZIP A FILE FOLDER  Move all documents into a single folder “OregonESD_RegionalPromiseGrant”  Organize documents in the folder – match to submission requirement PC Right Click on the folder Send to Compressed (Zipped) Folder Compressed folder.zip MAC Right Click on the folder Select Compress “folder name will appear” Compressed folder appears.zip

8 SECURE FILE TRANSFER (SFT) Go to “District” website https://district.ode.state.or.us/home/https://district.ode.state.or.us/home/ Click on Secure File Transfer (located under Quick Links) https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/xfers/ Do not need user name/password

9 SECURE FILE TRANSFER  Who Receives the File? Joy.blackwell@ode.state.or.us  Who is Sending the File?  Locate your file and SEND  ZIP it!!  Enter message
