SWBAT divide whole numbers and decimals by 0.1, 0.01, and 0.

Discuss in your groups:
What is any number divided by 1? What happens when you have a decimal in the divisor? Keeping that in mind what would happen to a number if you divided it by 0.1? 23 ÷ 0.1 230 ÷ 1 230

To divide by 0.1, 0.01, or 0.001: Count the number of decimal places in the divisor Move the decimal point to the right the same number of places Write zeros in the quotient as needed.
