WebConnect FOR EMPLOYEES Part of SubFinder’s advanced series of Web related products

WebConnect Employees can: Report an absence Review absences already entered through Job Review Check Personal Information Log Out of system

How does it work? WebConnect works in conjunction with your SubFinder system and complements the telephone operation of SubFinder All data is immediately available for use by either telephone or WebConnect

How do I access it? Access SubFinder from any computer with an Internet connection. From home, office, library, or anywhere Simply enter your District’s Web address and click on the WebConnect link. http://www.pvsd.k12.ca.us/webconnect/login/ login.asplogin.asp (for employees) This will bring you to the log in screen for WebConnect.

Log In To log in, simply enter your Last Name as it is entered into the SubFinder system and your Pin Number Click on Submit The welcome window will appear showing the menu options: Report Absence Job Review Personal Information Log Out

Report an Absence Click on Report Absence Click Continue Enter the start date, start time, end date and end time of the absence Select: Follow Employee’s Schedule or Same Times Daily Click Continue

Reason and Job Type Select the appropriate absence Reason using the down arrow Click Continue Pick a Job Type by clicking on the down arrow and choose: Substitute Required No Substitute Required Prearranged Substitute Requested Substitute Click Continue

Prearrange or Request If you have selected either Prearranged or Requested Enter the Substitutes ID number Substitute Number or Name Click Continue

Confirm Job Information Review all of the information Click Confirmed Add Job If corrections need to be made, click Cancel and start over

Special Instructions If you would like to leave special instructions for the substitute, click Yes Enter your notes for the substitute Click Save Job Message Click Exit

Absence and Job Review You can review all absences you’ve entered into the system by: Substitute Date or Date Range Type of Absence Status Make the appropriate selection, click on Run Request You’ll see all of the absences in the system based on the filter criteria you have chosen

Personal Information You will see several tabs: General Information Address Certification Availability

General Information Displays: Your name ID number Pin number Home site Calendar Primary and secondary job position Your hire date and date added Your start and end times, only if they differ from your site’s start and end times Certified or classified

Address Information Displays your: Address Telephone number Address and telephone number changes need to be reported to your administrator

Certifications Displays any certifications you may have and the expiration dates Any updates need to be reported to your supervisor Your district may not be using the certification feature.

Leave Control Displays: Leave Control Reason Time Used Time Available Your district may choose not to use this feature.

Log Out When you are ready to leave WebConnect click on Log Out To log back in, click on Log In Again
