Responsibility Responsibility means to accept the results of your own actions. "Errors are inevitable. The mark of character is not refusing to recognize them, but acknowledging them and taking responsibility." - Andrew Sullivan

Respect for Others Respect for others entails listening to others' opinions and feelings, appreciating their time, and even respecting their physical space. At the core of respecting others is the "golden rule." “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”

Empathy Empathy means identifying with and understanding of another’s situation. “When you are kind to someone in trouble, you hope they’ll remember and be kind to someone else.”-Whoopi Goldberg

Citizenship Citizenship, at its core, is social responsibility in action. Being a good citizen includes doing your part for the common good, serving your community, and helping make our democracy work. Reliable A reliable person is able to be trusted to do what is expected or has been promised. “A true friend never breaches the trust of his companion or stabs him in the back. He is trustworthy and reliable. One should therefore always try to be a true and reliable friend. ”

Self-Motivation Self-motivation is the desire to reach for a goal without the influence of anyone or anything else. “The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.” --Confucius
