Exploring LMI (2) Starting salary - £18000 – 22000 Hours – Rota’d shift work Numbers employed – 29000 Predicted future jobs – 12000 (upto 2022) Train Driver BUT, Google the term “Driverless Trains” and a 16-18 year old today will be 26 – 28 in the mid 2020’s when TfL (and many other train operators) plan to implement these trains.
