Learning Objective: Given the habitat, the learner will identify the basic need of the animal with 100% accuracy. Content Standard 3 SPI. All living things are required to have essential needs. That is things needed in order to maintain life. Those things are: food, water and oxygen. They are the primary needs of animals. There are two more basic needs. They are proper habitat and livable temperature. We know that the variation of animals require certain foods and shelter.
