3 End of Slide Calculating Download Times A standard definition 1 hour TV show is 350 megaabyte. 350,000,000 bytes Modem 56 kbits/s ÷ 8 = 7 kilobytes/s Download Time = 350,000,000 ÷ 7000 = 50,000 seconds÷ 3600 ≈ 14 hours
