1. We were learning about what Enterprise in Business is. We discussed our family jobs.

2. To start our Business topic we had to think about ourselves. This will help us when we come to thinking about what we are good at.

3. We were seeing how many parts of the body we can name in French.

4. Our challenge this week was to make spooky finger puppets. We had to read and follow instructions. It involved tracing, cutting, colouring, sticking and measuring.

5. In the Book zone we were reading Halloween poems and scary stories.

6. We are taking part in The Scottish Book Trust Royal Mail Awards. Our first book is called “The Dragon Whisperer” by Lucinda Hare. We were discussing the names of the dragons in the story so far.

7. We used dictionaries and encyclopaedias to find the meaning of the parts of a castle mentioned in The Dragon Whisperer.

8. We watched a World of Work Wednesday GLOW Meet. It was about working in the world of film and the arts. After we wrote a long list of jobs in this area.

9. The Triangles have been using numbers up cards to help with 1, 10, 100 and 1000 more and less up to 10,000.

10. The Pentagons had to Overcome Blocking to solve this decimal domino game. It involved 2 place decimals and fractions. It was very tricky!

11. The Circles used games on GLOW to help us with “more and less”.

12. The Rectangles used a game to improve their mental division. They found all the answers!

13. We made Halloween biscuits. We topped them with blood, guts and sick! We had to eat fly pancakes without using our hands. The pancakes were topped with delicious fly’s blood!!!

14. We had a Halloween party. It was a monster of a party.
