3 What many people believe…  Training is wasted time.  I know enough already.  This training won’t give me any recognizable benefit.  I’m retiring soon; I’m too old/specialized/technology-limited to learn this; this is over my head.  Training reveals how uninformed I am.  I can’t do this.

11 Training the Public  Workshops: Be prepared for several types of eReaders. Be aware of the various levels of comfort patrons have with regards to technology. Offer handouts and links to information post class. One-on-one training is a great way to follow up with patrons who are lacking confidence. Request feedback from participants, e.g. survey.
