Sponsored in part by: H.323 Forum – November 2002 – New York, NY, USA Goals of H.323 Forum Certification Program Simplify deployment of standards-compliant equipment by the service providers and on the market in general Decrease cost of deployment for both service providers and equipment manufacturers by providing single verification capability accepted by the market

Sponsored in part by: H.323 Forum – November 2002 – New York, NY, USA Current State Work done through weekly conference calls with active participation of Cisco, WireOne, RADVISION, NexTone, MediaDigm, Polycom, iBasis, ITXC, Tandberg and others – everybody are welcome to join 3 levels defined – 1a, 1b and 2: –1a – basic protocol compliance (H.323v2 primarily) –1b – advanced protocol compliance (more of H.323v4 features) –2 – real world SP deployment requirements Level 1a and 1b currently stable, Level 2 is under development

Acacia is one example (www.acacia-net.com)www.acacia-net.com Evaluate more 3 rd party interoperability labs, like Meir Communications (US), TestingTech (Germany).
