Expectations Support Coaches—coaches are volunteers.
Be at Practice… otherwise let your coach know if schedule conflicts arise. Playing Time – generally equal playing time over the season. Open Communication – discuss issues with your coach/parent. Volunteer – all teams and parents are expected to help with the Lakeville tournament. (8 hours)

Code of Conduct You represent Lakeville North Boys Basketball and your behavior (positive or negative) has a lasting impression on you, your son and the community. I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care and encouragement for my son participating in youth sports by following this code of ethics. I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches and officials at every game, practice or other youth sports event. I will place the emotional and physical well-being of my son ahead of any personal desire to win. I will insist that my son play in a safe and healthy environment. I will provide support for coaches and officials working with my son to provide a positive, enjoyable experience for all. I will demand a drug, alcohol, and tobacco free sports environment for my son and agree to assist by refraining from their use at all youth sports events. I will remember that the game is for the boys and not for the adults. I will do my very best to make youth sports fun for my son. I will ask my son to treat other players, coaches, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, gender or ability. I will promise to help my son enjoy the youth sports experience within my personal constraint by assisting with coaching, being a respectful fan, providing transportation or whatever I am capable of doing. I agree to keep the lines of communication open with coaches, players, and other parents. Concerns will be addressed in a positive and objective manner. You will get a copy to sign and give to your coach.

Sport Ngin is a content management system that many basketball associations use – North girls and South boys and girls, included. It allows us to mange content without changes to the code behind the site. Gives the ability to control access to certain areas of the site. Provides team pages that coaches, managers, and parents can edit. New this year – Team Manager pages for each team – provides functionality like Teamsnap. Integrates with iScout app for collection and uploading stats. Not required to use, but it does have some nice features.
