2. Vincent van Gogh was born on March 30, 1853 in Groot- Zundert.

3. Parents Vincent’s mother’s name was Anna and his father’s name was Theodorus. His father was a minister and his mother was a bookbinder’s child.

4. Siblings Vincent was the oldest of his three sisters and two brothers, although he was very close to his brother Theo that was four years younger than him.

8. Vincent got fired from Goupil & Company because he left his job and went to the Netherlands for Christmas. He finally decided to become an artist. Art time

9. Art School Vincent attended Antwerp Art Academy in January 1886, but soon leaves because they are too traditional.

10. GROSSGROSS In 1888, Vincent cut off a piece of his own left ear!!!
