4. Why did Vincent Van Gogh choose to paint his bedroom? Vincent Van Gogh painted his room because he and his brother painted the same picture. I think Vincent felt confident painting his room because it looked three dimensional but it was on flat paper. My bed room to me is a place I go when I get frustrated. I can also go in there when I want to be alone or when I have a migraine. When I am in my room I don’t feel board or mad. When I am tired of talking to people I go into my room.
