In 2015, the TCC Full Board of Directors passed Resolution No.2015-02 submitted by the McGrath Tribal Council. The resolution states that the TCC region will celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day on October 12 th, the day America celebrate Columbus Day, as a way to celebrate the strength of the indigenous people.
