5 What is a crisis?

6 In most emergencies, it quickly will be clear whether it is of crisis proportion.

7 A crisis is a unexpected event of a nature or magnitude which meets all of the following conditions:

47 Prevention of situations When we speak of mine emergency preparedness we need to have plans and procedures in position to address emergency situations if they arise. But our focus as an industry must remain on prevention and stressing to each and every person that safety is an integral and inseparable part of producing coal.
