These tools allow them to share their desktops, share whiteboards, web conferencing, voice conferencing and even using mobile technologies for collaboration and communication. Currently NASA is using the tools like WEBEX for web conferencing (real time collaboration), and Jabber (asynchronous collaboration) and Mailman for managing the mailing lists.
