Requirements for Fall 2016 Admissions
Complete 60 Transferable Units by end of Spring ‘16 session IVC Courses 1-199 Finish “Golden Four” by appropriate term A1: Oral Communication A2: English Composition A3: Critical Thinking B4: Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning /upper-div/english-language- quantitative-reasoning-completion- dates.shtml Apply between October 1 to November 30 Not all CSUs and/or majors are open for Spring Admissions Apply on If you are earning an AA or ADT, apply for the award by February 1st If you are earning IGETC or CSU GE, remember to apply for the award on MySite.

Associates Degree for Transfer (ADT)
If you are earning an AA-T or AS-T, you can finish your course work by the end of Spring‘16 semester** CSULB Allows for completion in the Summer…not recommended Benefits for earning the degree .1 bump in your GPA Priority admissions Local GPA Covers all major prep Guaranteed admission to one of the 23 CSUs

Dependent Student Criteria Estimate family income as accurately as possible. For Fee Waiver and Financial Aid

College Information Remember when calculating your units and grade points to only count IVC courses 1-199 If you are not sure you calculated everything correctly, please see a counselor to double check your work. Add all colleges attended

Courses in Progress List Golden Four Classes, Term taken, and grade earned If in Progress/Plan then indicate appropriately Insert Courses in Progress and Planned from all colleges

EOP and Fee Waiver Fee Waiver Educational Opportunity Program
Fee Waiver is given based on your family income provided on the Personal Information section. Four free applications if you qualify for fee waiver!

After Submitting For ADT Students
A new message has been created on the 'application confirmation' page. The message that will provide a hyperlink to a web page providing students with their next steps. Make sure to apply for graduation by February 1 so that our Admissions and Records can verify your degree with the CSUs CSUs verify ADTs using the e-verify system. For All Students The CSUs will communicate with you via and/or student portal Create a student portal with each University you apply to and check it often as they will constantly be sending you updates If you miss a deadline you could be denied admissions

When you are done After you turn in your application, all the information will be saved from Section 2 to 13 Section 1 is unique to each CSU Each application is $55 If you have issues filling out the application, come see us in the Transfer Center Phone: Hours: Mon-Thurs: 8am to 7pm; Fri: 8am to 3pm
