Part of cooperation between OTF and European Commission, we have access to shared platforms – Open ePrior The Parliament of the European Union has issued a Directive to European countries to implement e-procurement practices In response, the European Commission initiated a program to build e-procurement management applications (based on international standards for e-procurement) for use by its agencies and suppliers This module is seen as covering a critical stage in the procurement process from a security, probity and confidentiality perspective 5 Sharing OPEN Platforms

Governments in A&NZ are embracing the Digital by Default agenda, which commits governments to proactively modernise and transform their services using digital technology. Agencies are expected to move away from simply using ICT to do what they have always done cheaper and faster; but rather, new or reformed government services will make the best use of digital technology throughout their end-to-end processes. 5 OTF member government focus

Open e-Prior is a solution that is able to assist to mitigate critical procurement risks at the tender submission stage supported by the European Commission to be trialled, evaluated and used (freely) simple to use and easily accessible strong on authentication a tool that can be used by agencies with limited training and establishment effort readily available, customisable and scalable able to be interfaced to Basware Open e-PRIOR REVIEW

Open e-Prior is NOT a substitute for existing procurement applications (especially post-Contract Award) mandated to be used a tool suitable for all procurement processes (e.g. where hard copy submissions are required or where suppliers are not sophisticated users of e-platforms) ready to be used immediately without some customisation Open e-PRIOR REVIEW
