1 Trash Can Parker and Mikey

2 Process The first step is to mine for the materials used for making sheet metal The materials are then melted in a container called a crucible. The molten metal is then poured out of the crucible and into a rectangular mold. When the metal has cooled completely, it is taken out of the mold. We now have a rectangular block of metal known as an ingot. The ingots are then rolled out into a shape that roughly resembles a trash can, by a rolling machine that uses energy. The sides are welded together and a cap is placed onto the bottom, it is ready to be used as a trash can. Ingot-(a mass of metal cast into a convenient shape for storage or transportation to be later processed) Crucible- a container of metal or refractory material employed forheating substances to high temperatures.

3 the first step is to mine the materials
Then the materials are melted in a container called a crucible. it is poured out of the crucible and into a rectangular mold. When the metal has cooled completely, it is taken out of the mold. We now have a rectangular block of metal known as an ingot. (a mass of metal cast into a convenient shape for storage or transportation to be later processed) The ingots are then rolled out into a shape that roughly resembles a trash can. The sides are welded together and a cap is put on the bottom, is ready to be used as a trash can. IT THEN HELPS SAVE THE WORLD.

4 History of the Can 10000 BC-Garbage becomes an issue as people first begin to establish permanent settlements 1810-The tin can is patented in London by Peter Durand 1885-The first garbage incinerator in the U.S. is built on Governors Island in New York Harbor. 1974-The first city-wide use of curbside recycling bins occurs in University City, Missouri for collecting newspapers

5 Trash Can Cycle First, the main material in a can
has to be made, such as plastic. It is then assembled into a container with a lid, also known as a garbage bin. Plastic (C10H8O4) 10 carbon atoms( is the chemical element with symbol C and atomic number 6. As a member of group 14 on the periodic table, it is nonmetallic and tetravalent(meaning it makes four bonds to other atoms.) 8 hydrogens atoms (most abundent element on earth, its atomic number is 1) and 4 oxygen atoms  (is the element with atomic number 8 and represented by the symbol O)

6 Cycle The cans will then be shipped to stores to be sold or directly taken to specific locations.

7 USE Garbage bins are then used by people to get rid of their waste. There are different types of bins for recycling materials and other uses as well.

8 Disposal Trash cans are never really disposed because they are used to dispose of other materials. They last forever.

9 Summary of the average trash can
you can easily do away with all the garbage that gets accumulated in your house every day. To get rid of the wastes, simply put the trash into the trash can. After you put the trash in the trash can, the lid swings back to the closed position. Thus, you need not close this trash can. It comes in a black glossy plastic finish and is very durable. This trash bin uses 13-gallon hefty wastebasket bags that are sufficient to hold all the garbage. Plastic (C10H8O4) 10 carbon atoms( is the chemical element with symbol C and atomic number 6.
