3 What in the World are Heteronyms?? Heteronyms are words that are spelled identically but have different meanings when pronounced differently. For example: Lead and Lead The tour guide will lead the way through the museum. Lead is very heavy metal.

4 Let’s take a look at some more Heteronyms! See if you can figure out the correct pronunciation based on the rest of the sentence.
