5 5 Goals of Workshop  Purpose Asses the issues, benefits, and maturity of applying XML to SCORM-based content.  Outcomes Information sharing on the ways that XML is being applied to SCORM-based content and the capabilities it enables; Identification of high-priority capabilities that are sufficiently technically mature to consider a general SCORM solution. Guidance to ADL-sponsored research projects exploring strategic emerging capabilities; Identification of common goals and next steps, including a recommendation on a possible open initiative to define an XML content strategy for SCORM.
