2 OUR INTRO  THE Olympics The Olympics was first won by a chef named Coroebus he won the only event in the Olympics the only event was the 192 meter foot race in 776 B.C and you were only allowed to see that if you were a male unmarried

3 Did the event in the Olympics events ever change? yes they did. It went from 1 to 10 events you could say that adding 4 other foot races could count. Here are some of the new ones 1 st wresleling 2 nd boxing 3 rd pancratum 4 th horse- racing 5 th chariot race 6 th pentathon 7 th sprinting 8 th long jump 9 th javelin and discus throwing. 4 Ancient Greek Fun Facts Some people wonder lots of facts like what they did in the old olymics compared to what now.  The People who recorded the games were called pausainas.  A wreath of olives were like a gold metals like today.  The first games were held in southeast of greece in 776  There are more sports today than in the past.

5 Modern day Olyimpics.  There are 56 events in total some were in winter, others were in summer. They`re held all over the world. Every 4 years they are held.  Some of the summer events inculde: fenceing golf football javilin throw hammer throw wresleling and vollyball. Some winter events include: bobsleding ice hokey snowboarding ski jumping curling and speed skating
