Interest Meeting Agenda I. Overview of scholarship Student must travel to a country in which the language s/he is studying at Penncrest is an official language Student/family must select a program of at least 3 weeks The program may be homestay, or in a school setting; Student/family is responsible for due diligence in evaluating the travel abroad program/organization

Interest Meeting Agenda IVApplication process Submit all parts of the application by 10/15/15 Interviews – December 3 rd (student and parent) Notification – by letter the following week Student/family research programs (notify Mrs. Riviere when selected) Checks distributed March/April Contact Mrs. Riviere with an update during the summer “Sell” the program at the Interest Meeting next September and at the WL Fête in the Spring

Interest Meeting Agenda V.Forms and deadlines- http://www.rtmsd.org/page/1023 http://www.rtmsd.org/page/1023 Distribute forms to guidance counselors and teachers; ask them to return forms directly to Mrs. Riviere Complete and return student and parent statement with the application form Students: FOLLOW UP to be sure that all forms are submitted NO LATER than the application due date. (late applications will not be considered for the scholarship)
