2. Boreatton Park
Set in 250 Acres of superb grounds, including two lakes and a river.
Children will sleep in rooms of 4.
It is the biggest of the PGL centres.
It takes around 2 hours to get there.

5. Kit List Clothing Nightwear (something warm!)
Several changes of underwear
2 or more fleeces or jumpers
3 pairs of OLD trousers (not jeans!) 2 for activities and one for evening.
Shorts
Practical shoes or boots (walking boots)
Several T-shirts
Swimwear (not bikinis)
Socks (at least 3 pairs)

6. Kit List Clothing continued:
2 or more pairs of trainers- one old ones for wet/muddy activities, one dry pair.
A waterproof jacket (and trousers, ONLY if you have them!)
Hat and gloves (weather dependent)
Swimwear
Wellies (again, only if you have them)

7. Kit List Other Essentials:
Sleeping bag and pillow (there are no duvets! Do not go out and buy one- a duvet is fine)
Wash bag and two towels
Labelled bin bags/plastic bags for wet items
A small plastic bottle
Sun hat and suncream
A small rucksack/bag (for day use)

8. Remember...
Everything MUST be labelled; even down to individual socks!
Don’t bring any expensive/new clothes, just in case.
Don’t bring anything of value.
No electronic items- including phones.
Books/cards etc are allowed.
A disposable camera is also allowed, but not digital (it must be labelled).

9. Groups
The children have chosen who they would like to ‘bunk’ with and this has been taken into consideration by the teachers when creating room lists.
The children will then be in different (in most cases) groups for the daily activities.
We will tell the children on the day, which groups they will be in.
Each group will be in close proximity to a member of staff in the sleeping quarters.

Any messages should come through the school office, but if there are any emergencies outside of school time, there will be an ‘out of hours’ number provided. The teachers will all have phones and the contact telephone numbers should we need to telephone you.

12. Return to School
We are aiming to be back at school at around 3:30- 4pm.
If it is going to be any later than that, you will be notified.
