PH 8.01/99 - Seminar, Brussels, 9 November 2005 Regulatory decision making as a result of implementation of BG 01.10.02 (1) BG/TS/17 project “Enhancement of safety assessment capabilities available to BNRA” Purpose –Support to Bulgarian Nuclear Safety Authority and its TSOs in the review of the safety cases for Kozloduy NPP – 3, 4, 5 and 6, including regulatory reviews and approval of plant-specific, in-depth analysis reports in compliance with widely applied practices within the EU; –Develop a modern well-documented quality management system and implementation of this system at the BNRA; –Assist BNRA and its TSOs with the regulatory review and assessment of the measures to ensure reactor pressure vessel integrity for Kozloduy NPP 3, 4, 5 and 6; –Transfer of know-how to BNRA and its TSOs for long term perspective, enhancing their competence and capabilities.
