Parent Informatio n Greetings Parents! This Friday, we will have an assembly to kick off our Dolphin Dash! This year’s Dash will be a lot of fun. Please encourage your child to make a goal for the Dash, and talk about how we can plan to accomplish our goals. Thank you! Living the Dolphin Way Living the Dolphin way is doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Thank you for helping your child live the Dolphin Way at home and at school! Thank You! Reading: Students will practice retelling the stories they read through discussion of the setting, characters, problem, character actions, and solution in the story. Math: Students will practice building numbers and identifying tens and ones within a number. Writing: Students will continue to practice writing informational and opinion paragraphs. Social Studies: Students will learn about significant figures in America’s history. Science: Students will begin an investigation into habitats across the globe.
