Ⅰ INTRODUCTION A recent forensic autopsy case, which involved a very serious medical dispute case, will be i llustrated here. Two deceased, the pregnant woman and her new-born baby, dead in this case.

The autopsy was performed by Judicial Expertise Center of Yunnan Province for the purpose of (1) determining the causes of death; (2) trying to show the relation between the deaths and the alleged malpractice involved the hospital.

2 CASE REPORT The 22-year-old young woman was taken to one of the hospitals in to give birth to her first baby.
